I started my professional life working as a Personal Trainer. I always knew I wanted to help people feel and move better.
I was having great results, and my clients were referring to me their family and friends that were in injury and pain or struggling to have quality of life. So, I needed more knowledge and certification to supply the demand I was having.
After searching a lot, but not finding what I was in need of, eventually I found a video of “meeting of the minds 2008”. And THERE WAS IT! Suddenly there was this crazy man – Douglas Heel, having fun while sharing is work, and the AMAZING results it could give to people.
In that instant, I bought his DVD and booked the Be Activated Workshop. I felt immediately that my life would never be the same anymore.
Even before the workshop, and with all I learned with the DVD, my work improved dramatically! Clients were having amazing results, pain-free, and feeling ALIVE!
My journey started there, with that DVD. I felt everything was already inside my mind, and just needed a spark to turn on the engine! And so it began!
After the first workshop that totally blew my mind, I came back for level 2 and repeated both workshops at least 5 times. I understood that every workshop was different because every person has his own story, and the magic happens there, in the stories! And I was learning with every single one of them!
My relationship with Douglas grew, I became his assistant helping him on the workshops, and we turned best friends.
Since I met Douglas and become a Be Activated therapist, my life changed not only professionally, but in all levels.
I manage to build a successful business based on Be Activated Philosophy, where therapy and exercise come together.
I managed to get married to the love of my life, and I’m about to be a father.
And I manage to grow my inner me, learning how to live with love and gratitude.
This year, I did the highest financial investment of my life, where I bought a new space to change my business, and also to create the Be Activated International Training Centre with Douglas. It was a scary decision because my brain was saying no, but my heart was saying yes. My brain was comfortable and safe with what I already had, but my heart wanted to expand and reach more people, sharing with all the world the Be Activated Philosophy. So living with this dilemma for about one month lead me to the worst pain ever in my back. 5 days in bed with acute pain. When we are in pain and suffering, we tend to forget all the knowledge we have, and I was no different! Douglas phoned me, and we had a conversation about focus. He opened my eyes to what was happening to me, and helped me find my reference point again! Guess what? The very next day I manage to get back to work!!! From excruciating pain, to able to work just because my mind did a reset and I was centred again! This is the power of Be Activated!
Life is not easy when we can get distracted with so many stuff, and the Corona Virus Pandemic made it even worse! In the year I decided to do the highest financial investment, the worst financial crisis situation ever, come!!! Did I Panic? No! This time things were different! I kept remembering the philosophy, and did not lose my point of focus! My two businesses were closed (activation sessions and exercise), but we immediately created an online platform for exercise, and I helped my clients by videoconference with the activations sessions! Yes, we can help a lot by teaching them self activations! And keeping the point of focus of our clients in the right place! Not losing my focus, kept things going, and made the business safe and healthy.
The new space is almost ready, right now only painting and new floor left to do, my daughter will be born in July, I’m working again doing activation sessions, the exercise is being done online, and life is AMAZING!
This is my story, and this is where the power is! This is the secret of Be Activated philosophy! And the more stories we share and learn, the more we know about what we don’t know that we don’t know, life will be easier and good!!!
